Our Services

Each conveyance is different, and the length of time is dictated by a number of factors outside of our control. We will always strive to complete a transaction in as timely a manner as possible, while protecting your interests. In a “straightforward” conveyance for either a buyer or a seller, you can expect the standard time from sale agreed to handover of keys to be between 4 and 8 weeks.

FAQs

Conveyancing is the term used to describe the transfer or change of ownership of real property in Ireland. Conveyancing is the process whereby a person buys or sells a house, apartment or land.
You cannot buy or sell property in Ireland without a solicitor. A solicitor will certify title to you or your lender, and will facilitate the drawdown of your mortgage. A solicitor will also take care of registration in Taillte Éireann, and will request amendments to a contract.
Title is the term used to describe evidence of ownership of a person to an estate/interest in a property. If a Vendor satisfactorily proves they are the legal owner of an estate/interest in property, then we say that Vendor has Good Title. Good Title is of a standard commensurate with good conveyancing rules, and is understood to be property which can be sold. If a property does not have Good Title, the Title must be qualified, rectified, or in some cases, the property cannot be sold.
